In November / December of 2018 Passepartout Duo will be ensemble in residence in the town of Rauma on the west coast of Finland. The city was founded in 1442 and it is third-oldest town in Finland. Rauma has two UNESCO world heritage sites; middle age wooden centre Old Rauma and bronze age burial cairns Sammallahdenmäki. For more information, visit Rauma's own website and the RaumArs's website.
Passepartout Duo will be in residence at Dar Slimane in Marrakech, Morocco. We'll be recording Christopher Adler's the Toy Robot's Mechanical Heart, as well as Andy Akiho's Karakurenai using site-specific instruments. Presentations will be held at local institutions, showing our work to the community.

Under the direction of composer Martin Bresnick, Norfolk’s acclaimed New Music Workshop invites composers and instrumentalists to study the dynamics of taking a piece from a composer’s imagination to the performance hall. The Workshop culminates in a performance featuring world premieres performed by the Norfolk Contemporary Ensemble led by conductor Julian Pellicano.
